For four decades Rob has designed and implemented fully-bundled retirement plan solutions for small-to-mid-sized private owned companies through two successful entrepreneurial firms he founded and built — one of which was acquired by a public company and continues to operate today. Marketing both directly to clients and jointly with other investment  professionals, Rob has achieved national recognition delivering turn-key programs encompassing all facets of compensation, benefit and retirement planning.

Rob has received national recognition both by authoring Plan Design texts used by attorneys, accountants, and other professionals and by co-authoring the first nationally-distributed balance-forward retirement plan record keeping software.

In addition to his extensive background designing retirement plans, Rob has consistently exploited technology to achieve tactical and strategic business advantage and as a means to drive enhanced productivity for his clients. As an entrepreneur, Rob recognizes that the measure of business achievement is increased revenue or decreased expenses — yielding enhanced profitability and productivity. Through sophisticated plan design techniques learned and practiced over 3 decades, he continues to provide retirement plan solutions to this end for NestEggs’ clients.

connie_photoConnie has more than 40 years of practical experience integrating record keeping, investment management, documentation and participant counseling for retirement plans.  Connie’s invaluable perspective supports plan administrators, companies and participants alike.

Connie received training from some of the finest actuarial firms before becoming co-owner of one of the largest retirement plan consulting firms in the northeast (a firm ultimately sold to a public company).  The wealth of experience Connie offers NestEggs’ clients is incalculable.

Kevin Cheezum, QPA, QKA, QPFC

During his 13 years with NestEggs, Kevin has assumed positions with increasing responsibility including Administrator, Senior Administrator and Chief Compliance Officer. In 2014 he became a Principal and Shareholder and was named Vice President, Practice Management. In his current role, Kevin is charged with overseeing compliance, managing the Administrator teams, and maintaining relationships at the plan sponsor level.

Prior to joining NestEggs, Kevin worked for Merrill Lynch, supporting customers’ investment and administrative needs in the annuity area. He began his career as an accountant for an Orlando-based firm, where his duties included management of operating expenses, balance sheet preparation, vendor relationships and assistance with the company’s 401(k) Plan.

Kevin has earned QPA (Qualified Pension Administrator), QKA (Qualified 401(k) Administrator) and QPFC (Qualified Plan Financial Consultant) designations from the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries. He also held his Series 7 and 66 investment licenses before joining NestEggs as an Investment Adviser Representative (IAR).

Kevin received a B.S. in Business Administration and Finance from the University of Central Florida, and an Associate in Arts Degree from Santa Fe Community College.

Sarah Gronvold, Principal

ac_SarahFor 10 years, Sarah has worked with new clients to implement and/or transition retirement plans to the NestEggs’ platform. Post implementation, she oversees NestEggs’ outreach efforts which include providing on-going enrollment/education opportunities and investment advisory services for employees. She also works directly with plan sponsors during the annual review and planning cycle to insure that each plan continues to operate efficiently and adapt to changing objectives and business conditions.

Sarah’s role expanded in 2013 to include responsibility for new business development, and in 2014 she became a NestEggs’ Principal and Shareholder. She currently serves on the Women’s Board of Dreams Come True, and is also a Trustee Member of the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce.

Sarah is a licensed Investment Adviser Representative (IAR) (Series 65). She is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of the University of Vermont, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a focus on sociology and psychology.


Blake A. Macklin

Blake joined NestEggs in 2016 to head the Accounting and Finance divisions of the business as well as the Contributions and Distributions department. After graduating from the University of Florida with a major in Finance, he passed the CPA and currently holds an active license in the state of Florida.  Not long after joining NestEggs, he added the credential of passing the Series 65 Uniform Registered Investment Advisor exam. Blake’s prior work experience involved Accounting and Finance in the insurance industry where he ultimately reached the position of Director of Financial Reporting before joining the NestEggs team.

Irene Adelman, QPA, QKA

In her current role of Plan Administrator, Irene performs the administration/record-keeping function for multiple plans which includes executing compliance testing of the Plans and contribution calculations to evaluate funding options for business owners and Plan Sponsors. As Plan Administrator, Irene is also responsible for the daily reconciliation of contributions, processing of distributions and loans, and the completion of government filings such as Forms 5500 Series, 1099-R and 5498. In addition to her professional experience, Irene holds the Series 65 Uniform Registered Investment Advisor license, Qualified Pension Administrator (QPA) and the Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA) designations from the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA).

Prior to joining NestEggs, Irene bolstered her background and qualifications in the benefits industry as Supervisor of the Distribution Department of a large retirement plan administrative firm in Hawaii. Her experience included technical compliance support, trust accounting & reconciliation and database operation. Prior to her 3-year tenure with the TPA firm, Irene worked for several academic and government institutions, with a focus on international and East-West liaison.

Irene received a Bachelor of Arts in English from Loyola Marymount University and a Master of Arts in English from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Irene also spent one summer studying at Queens College – Oxford University. She speaks Tagalog and some Spanish.

Marcia Merritt

Senior Plan Administrator

Marcia brings 2 decades of experience in Plan Administration to her role as a Senior Administrator with NestEggs.  Her responsibilities include maintaining administration/record-keeping for a spectrum of plan designs including DC and Combo plans, cross-tested and Safe Harbor, in addition to overseeing daily reconciliation, compliance testing, processing of distributions, loans and QDRO’s, and the completion of government filings 5500 using Schwab Recording Keeping system and ASC.  In February 2017, Marcia was promoted to Team Leader for administrative processes and procedures, and is a primary contact for internal system support.  As an Administrator, Marcia is also the primary point-of-contact for day-to-day Plan Sponsor and Participant inquiries, requests, and general support.

Prior to joining NestEggs, Marcia spent 17 years with SunGard – Wealth Management, developing expertise as a Relius Administration Pension Support Analyst.  In this role, she was the first point of contact for both install and internet based clients to resolve plan related software issues, and provide training support on program features via telephone and webex.  Marcia also developed expertise in all areas of administration for plan types and statuses including balance forward, 401k, sole proprietor, cross-tested, Safe Harbor, Top Heavy and Daily Valuation. Researched client issues to develop a solution, worked with other departments on enhancements. Maintained a broad knowledge base of IRS Regulations regarding retirement plans. Created training and Help documentation for program users. Wrote SQL scripts for data search and correction.

Marcia continues to assume increasing levels of responsibility at NestEggs, leveraging her extensive experience to add value to all levels of service.

Windy Fraser

In her role as Plan Administrator, Windy oversees the daily flow of information related to pricing, company/participant contributions, and account reconciliation; all of which puts her at the hub of the record keeping functionality, as well as the real-time valuation of participant accounts on the website.

In 2006, Windy received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology from San Diego State University and an Associates Degree in Accounting from Jamestown Community College. She earned her Property/Casualty and Life/Health Insurance Licenses, and passed the Series 6/63 Securities exam shortly after graduating which allowed her to gain valuable professional experience in the Insurance industry as a Sales Agent.


Alison Hollaway

Billing Supervisor

Alison joined NestEggs in April 2005 to manage our database processing, accounting and payroll processing functions. While she continues to devote a portion of her time to accounting, her knowledge and skill set have continued to expand and she currently holds the position of Billing Supervisor, with the credential of passing the Series 65 Uniform Registered Investment Advisor exam.

Prior to joining NestEggs, Alison worked as a Computer Security Analyst with a national health insurer, at which she Administered security access for all Client Server applications, providing support for over 28,000 users, created and maintained over 12,000 NT LAN accounts, 4,000 Remote LAN Access (RLA) accounts, and 12,000 Lotus Notes accounts. Even more interesting, though, is her 20+ years working with the Saudi Arabian Oil Company in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, where she maintained security for personnel data of Saudi Aramco’s 57,000 employees.

Alison hails from Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire, UK, where she graduated from Welwyn Garden City High School and ICI Plastics Division Secretarial Training College. Following two decades in Saudi Arabia, Alison moved to Florida to be closer to family and she now considers Jacksonville home.
